Generative AI Film Director
Brand grade films directed in generative AI, or in hybrid pipelines that blend it with live action and motion design. Behind every frame: a filmmaker and producer screened at Cannes and Busan; a decade of high end commercials in Asia; twenty years of editing and post production; and five years of generative AI, from custom models trained in Python to today's full production pipelines.

A filmmaker who directs the generative layer of a film, whether carrying a whole project end to end, art directing within a studio team, or blending AI with live action and motion design. Festival craft, commercial discipline, on brief. AI productions commissioned by studios at the Berlin, Hong Kong and Cannes film markets.
I direct the look and the performance first. The generative craft serves that, not the other way round.
One person carries the film from concept to final delivery: look, motion, voice, sound design, edit and grade. Fewer hands in the chain, one accountable point of contact.
When a project needs more than one pair of hands, I take the producer's seat: briefing, directing and quality controlling other AI video creators across parallel productions, the way I ran advertising productions for a decade.
Characters, voices and environments hold from the first shot to the last, so the film reads as one world, not a run of generations. That consistency is held by a documented reference system, auditable at any point of production.
Deliveries are versioned, iterations defined upfront, deadlines held, white label when needed, across European, Asian and US hours.

I am a film director and producer. My debut feature, Les Affluents / Coalesce, premiered at Cannes (ACID), was selected at Busan and Visions du Réel, and was released across 28 territories in cinema, TV and streaming. My twenty years in the industry include a decade directing high end advertising in Asia, luxury hospitality among it, and a continuous editing and post production practice.
I have worked with generative systems since 2021, training my own models in Python before any public tool existed; that early body of work, Horomata, was published in a book in June 2022. I now work full time in AI native production, and I am in post-production on my second feature, Phnom Penh Melody. Master in Cinema Studies, Université Sorbonne Nouvelle. Former member of the ACID Cannes selection committee.
